The synthetic cords for the new generation of garden furniture are woven just like rattan, which means that every chair and seat covering is completely handmade just like it is done with traditional wickerwork producers. The weaving consists of polyethylene, a synthetic fibre known for years which is washable and quite durable. What’s new is the fact that this synthetic fibre is made highly UV resistant and a bleaching of its colours is very unlikely.
