Our garden furniture has been met with such a great feedback that there is no denying any longer: covers are missing!But the wait is over now.

We can now offer you covers for all available chairs, seats and benches. We had to ask ourselves: do we use dralon for our covers or a natural fabric like cotton? We finally decided on natural white cotton, which is durable and fits well with the character of our furniture.

These covers are produced in Denmark, they come with a zip and can be washed at 30°C. The filling is a felt covered foam core, which has its own cover.

Care of the garden furniture

Care when kept natural
Many customers do not want to colour their furniture but keep them in their natural style. This is a traditional method and you will soon see that the natural colour soon changes from red-brown to silver-grey.It is easy to care for those kinds of furniture: Once or twice a year you should wash the furniture with hot soapwater and a natural brush. This prevents dust particles from getting attached to the wood. But the remains of soap must always be washed off

 

Woodsurface cracks

With teak, cracks at the woodsurface are possible. But they do not influenece the quality and durability of the item.

 

Scratches:

As with every wooden furniture item, scratches, dents and mildew are possible with our teak items as well. These can be scraped with sandpaper.

The garden furniture you can see on this webpage has been treated with teak oil. Please understand that we sell all our furniture items from stock, which means that they are kept natural and unoiled.

Care of the garden furniture

For everyone who does not like the silver grey colour of the wood, we advise to treat the item with oil within the first couple of weeks after your purchase-This is more a matter of style and does not affect weather resistancy or durability. When the furniture is treated with oil, then the veins can be seen better and most of our customers prefer the warm colour. All vertical areas should be treated with oil 3-4 times a year, it’s best to use a brush when applying the oil.

We receive our teak oil from Dr Keddo GmbH; as the company has specialised in the production of care products for ship teak.
